Dr. Rebecca Lutte is an Associate Professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha Aviation Institute. She conducts research on a variety of topics with a primary focus on aviation workforce development and the outreach, recruitment and retention of women in aviation. She is an active member of the 99s, Women in Aviation International, Experimental Aircraft Association and serves on the board of the University Aviation Association.
Kate Fraser is Joby Aviation’s Head of Safety, overseeing the safety of over 500 employees at four facilities. Joby is developing one of the world’s most advanced electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, designed specifically to pioneer the air taxi market. Prior to Joby, she served as Uber’s Head of Aviation Policy, working with policymakers to make urban air mobility a reality. Fraser is a commercial pilot and certified flight instructor.
Dana Donati is the General Manager and Director of Academic Programs at The Leadership In Flight Training (LIFT) Academy, a Republic Airways Company. LIFT is transforming the standard pilot training model by offering an affordable tuition and a direct classroom-to-cockpit opportunity. Prior to the LIFT Academy, Dana held leadership roles in both the airlines and aviation higher education She is a member of Women in Aviation International and Advancing Women in Transportation.
Crystal Barrois is a Delta Air Lines Boeing 757/767 First Officer. In 2016, she was tapped by Delta to create a leadership development program for pilots as an effort to identify and develop diverse talent for leadership roles. She is now Manager of Pilot Development, overseeing the Delta Propel Company, the Community Career Path Programs and the ASCEND Pilot Leadership Program, which works to improve policies for female pilots and increase diversity in the pilot hiring and leadership pipelines.
