ABOUT

History

WAI began in 1990 and was formally established in 1994 as a nonprofit organization. The first International Women in Aviation Conference was held in Prescott, Arizona, in 1990.

Mission

Women in Aviation International is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the encouragement and advancement of women in all aviation career fields and interests.

Education & Careers

Education is at the core of all Women in Aviation International does. We know that to grow the aviation industry and increase the opportunities for women within the industry they must be trained and knowledgeable in their areas of expertise, and companies must be aware of what women bring to the industry
