September 30, 2023, the WAI Palmetto Pride Chapter will host our 7th Annual Girls in Aviation Day Event at Signature Flight Support N. Charleston, SC, whom is our main sponsor of this event, from 9:00am – 12pm.
We had 200 children attend in 2017, 300 in 2018, in 2019, 150 in 2022 we went back to limited amount at Signature Flight, due to the pandemic. This year with many financial issues and for safety concerns we’re hosting a limited amount of children. We went to ensure the safety of all children and adults as we introduce girls and boys to aviation through STEM.
