The City of Charleston is offering youth the opportunity to gain skills and knowledge regarding personal finance through virtual workshops this summer! Any high school or college age youth is invited to participate in the Bank On Charleston Financial Empowerment Initiative. Benedict College will host the Summer Transportation Institute starting July 5-July 28. The program will be in-person and virtual. The program will have tours to educational and transportation facilities, workshops for SAT and ACT Preparation, career readiness sessions, and competitions in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.  The application deadline is June 11th, and selected participants will be notified by June 20th.  See Attached Application for more information.
